How to support the Codehaus

We're grateful for the supporters who've already contributed, but there's always room for more.

Write code!

The easiest way to support the Codehaus is to join a project and contribute of your time.

Financial structure

OpenXource (Australia) takes care of all finances for the Codehaus; they receive all revenue from advertising activities, and pay for all hosting and support costs.

If funds permit, then we also manufacture trinkets that can be air-freighted to your land.

Non Profit Status

The steps required to make Codehaus a non-profit were never completed; so while "The Codehaus Foundation, Inc." looks like a certified non profit organization, the actual legal situation is that we are not.

Pledge money or merchandise.

If you want to give a large chunk of change, simply contact Ben Walding, and he can make arrangements to send you an invoice. Likewise, Ben is who you need to talk to in regards to donations of software licenses, hardware, or other tangible or intangible goods.

International Wire Transfer

We can accept international wire transfers, just contact Ben for more details

Hardware Donations

While we appreciate additional hardware, we prefer to use our managed hosting provider Contegix as they give us 24x7 support whereas we can generally only manage 16x7 at the best of times. That being said, if you have a platform that you'd like to donate as a build server, and it lives in a data-center, then let us know as we can potentially use it as a build-slave.

Mirrors

We are always in need of distribution mirrors; but are currently not set up to fully utilise them. Contact us if you have an abundance of bandwidth, and (>100GB) of diskspace available for mirroring.
